We have a student of the month!

Christian was student of the month in his first grade class today, here is a quick photo, we went to a ceremony at his school this morning where he receieved his button and certificate.



All is well with me, I am at home and healing, each day trying to get stronger and more energy back. I feel like I have been zapped of all energy, and that is not a good thing while caring for three kids, they can run circles around me. The chemo has taken it's toll on me, with everything being cumulative, it seems like I feel worse now than I did throughout my treatments. I sleep when Olivia sleeps in the morning and try to sneak in a nap in the afternoon also to try and get through the day, my body needs alot of healing. I guess i thought after I finished my treatments I would bounce back quickly, that does not seem to be happening, and for those who know me, that is hard, I am an energetic and on the go person, so this staying down and resting, etc. has been a real challenge for me. The mind wants to go, go, go but the body says no, lol.

I got my central line out on Wednesday, my blood numbers recovered. I am officially free of all medical lines, procedures, etc. and finally one came out on my terms. I go back to get my blood numbers checked frequently at doctor, but as of right now I am cancer free and ready to get back to myself. It is going to take awhile to get back to "me", I am exhausted, doing the smallest things makes me out of breath and have to sit down, I sleep as often as I can, harder said than done with three active kids, once you come home, life is back to normal really quick, but it will get better over time, I just need some rest and recooperation time.
